He grew up with very little love. Perhaps it's because he was born out of wedlock,

His father, is CEO Kang, and while he may not have given Yong Ki much love throughout his life,
he played a big role when separating Yong-Ki from his first love...

As a way to express himself, Yong Ki became a pop artist (painter?)
It's during this time he meets and falls in love with Jo Ann, his first love.
Eventually he endures a painful separation and began to carry with him

Thankfully, he meets In Jeong and begins to fall in love once again.

she ends up giving him a wound so deep he would carry it with him even after their break up...

Kang Joo Ran (강주란)

She's the Soo Hwan's wife, CEO Kang's oldest daughter, and half sister to Yong Ki.
With absolutely no fear in the world this is matched with a not-so-pleasant personality
which may attribute to a wavering relationship she has with Soo Hwan.

However, it isn't entirely her fault, especially when she discovers Soo Hwan's love for another woman!
It's because of his affair she is forced to live her life full of suspicion,
toward someone she should be able to trust... her husband.
